Literally at the lab

Dark didn't believe him.

"You aren't planning on killing me, are you?" Scott was genuinely terrified.

"Where's the fun in that?"

"So, what are you going to do?"

Dark let him bleed. Wounds on his legs and arms hurt.

Scott didn't have a high tolerance for pain like Daniel. He collapsed to the ground, bleeding and in pain.

He woke up in the infirmary.

He looked around to see if anyone else was there

Exxon was there.

Scott didn't recognize him. "Who are you?" he asked

"Exxon."

Knowing the name didn't help him to recognize the kid. "Why are you here?"

"I work here. They put me here after I failed.

"Failed?" Scott asked. He had no idea what this kid was talking about

"You know, lab capture and return."

Scott was starting to understand. "But why don't you just leave?"

Exxon pointed to a tag on his ear

"What is that?" he asked "Does it shock you or something?"

"You have no idea."

"Wow. That's terrible." Scott said. He wished he could do something for them, but despite being in charge in Gustav's absence he had no real power.

Exxon sighed. "Oh how I wish I hadn't ruined my friendship with Dark. Good thing you didn't. She's very talented. Ack!" He fell to the floor, smoking. He had accidentaly crossed the threshold.

Scott got up and pulled Exxon back to where he was before.

He was still in pain. The electricity was scrambling his brain. "Pass the mustard..."

"What?" Scott asked

"Abra-deedle-pie..." He sounded confused.
