| Dark's pulse raced as a human approached her cage. Fear was plainly seen on her face. Another, younger one, approached. "It will never be strong." Those words embedded themselves in her brain. 'Emotions are weak...' Dark steeled herself and snarled viciously. The humans laughed and banged her cage. "Stupid creature!" The young feline, as she now classified herself, felt tears well in her eyes. 'No, I can't cry.' Dark put on a mask, hiding the horribly broken girl underneath. "We've had it for five years! All it can do is climb trees and make noises. 03S79D could make humanoid noises." Dark narrowed her eyes. "Shut up!" She screamed. "I'm just like you, only better! You're just scared of everyone here! That's why they're in cages!" The lab was dead silent. All eyes on the bloody seven year old in the dog cage. "So you can talk, and have quite an attitude." One coldly replied to her little speech.Dark gave a deep growl back. It unlatched her cage and reached a hand inside. Dark quickly sunk her canines into it and morphed into a cat. She dashed between their legs into the sterile hallway. They shouted in dismay and rushed to tell the boss. Dark was quickly recaptured. 'Word are bad. Emotions are bad. Humans are bad.' Dark carried these fears for many, many years.
