She didn't like the dark. The dark meant death. The dark meant demise. The dark meant reality. A simple flash told her to come back, but Tai didn't obey. One long, grueling step took her so much closer. To her friends. To her mate. To her family. Each simply impossible step brought her closer to the looming city, loud, smelly, and dangerous.

DAY 1

I didn't think I could make it here. I changed my name to blend, I am no longer Tai of the KinnWings. I and E, of the humans. They say I talk weird. I don't think so. English is a difficult language and the sounds are much different from Karaetash*. There's no kchootsh, instead, they have ch-ch-ch sound, I am scared. I must be brave. Goodbye, for now.

Day 7:

Why do they eat so much here? I went to a rakatsh (or 'food place' as you call it) and everything they offered was more and more food! What happened to small rations and only healthy food? I will die from artery clogging for sure.

Day 8:

I got into a 'fight'. It should have been called a tamarok (a type of dueling used by KinnWings to assert dominance). I was just looking for a place to stretch my legs, maybe go for a flight? When this surly man came up to me, "Get outta here, girly." At that time, I had no idea what he said, but now, I believe it to be a phrase used in tamaroks among humans. I simply used my training to knock him out. It was fairly easy, tap to the spinal chord, good kick to the back of the head. His cronies started yelling at be but went mute as I whipped out my beautiful wings and took off to find a tree to rest. Humans are weird.
