Diane's Story

"Slut! Whore!" The insults drove deeply into her heart, along with others that she had gathered, like bullets, slowly freezing her heart over. 'Bitch', 'stupid,' along those lines. Boys were the worst. They would throw her, punch her, give her scars, along with the ones she gave herself. The worst of the worst was Florence. She ran her hand along the scar on her right cheek. She could still taste the blood.

The girl sat there, her auburn hair freshly cut, a kitchen knife had aided her last night when she tried to get the 'salon-quality' that her family was too poor to afford. She used to have nice things. Until Dad passed. Mom had to sell everything, their nice clothes, the plates, silverware, the nice house they had, all of it. Diane barely survived on the government money and the money Mom made form working in the local Goodwill. All her clothes were threadbare. And so was she.

She held a cup of water from the rain barrel. "Yum yum." She sighed, putting it down. A bottle of iodine in the other. She gently patted in onto her fresh scrapes. 'Screw Florence. Screw Lucy. Screw Maya. Screw Martin. Screw me.' She thought. her hand trembled as she brought the bottle to her lips. Taking a deep breath, she drained in into her throat. She fell, dead.

'Let Florence live with the guilt. See if I care.' Her first thought as she entered the realm of the dead. 'See if I care.'

So, she knew Florence before she was a Reaper????

Same school. Is he responsible for her death? 'Cause he caused her to commit suicide...

Mayhaps. I just thought it was odd because he wasn't called Florence in life. It could be a nickname, but it's weird that she would call him by a nickname if she hates him.

I don't know his real name. Shuddup. Just replace 'Florence' with his first name in your mind.

His name is Edmund. I'm pretty sure that was revealed at some point in the roleplay.

I suppose he would probably be a bully to someone as vulnerable as Diane if he was trying to make friends or something, but Florence really isn't the type to insult people or hit them without a reason

Oh well. It's grade school. Peer pressure. Florence was probably her friend before so it would hurt more when he did it.

Well he also had Devin(or whoever), but they betrayed him, literally stabbed him in the back twice and cut his throat so he couldn't speak then watched as he was killed by an evil crimelord, so I don't think that counts.

Florence's life sucked anyways. And the majority of his afterlife. And yet he still breaks down when he realizes that he hurt people.
