An odd occurence

Florence turned to Joshua. "You mind explaining to me what that was about? I thought you were going to kill me!"

"I did that for your own good. I can't have you losing control and killing somebody."

"Please. We all know that if I lost control you could easily stop me, right?"

Joshua didn't respond. This made Florence wonder. Is it possible that I could actually be stronger than him? As crazy as it seemed, it made a little sense.

"Someone's approaching." Joshua said suddenly. Florence snapped out of his thought and noticed a man in a fancy suit with dark hair had appeared in front of them. The man pulled a gold coin out of his pocket and flipped it.

"Who are you?" Florence asked. After everything that had happened today, he wasn't in the mood for any more weird stuff.

"You mean Gaia didn't tell you? That was rude of her."

"Tell us what?" Joshua asked.

"That by coming to this world, she weakened the already nearly broken barrier that separates this realm from the others. She should have known that I would follow her here."

"But who are you?" Florence repeated his question.

The man flipped his coin again. This time, it hung there, suspended in mid-air. Florence looked at the coin and then noticed that Joshua seemed frozen too.

"You really don't know who I am? That's odd, because it was you who summoned me here."

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

The man sighed. "You sure are clueless. Think about it for a moment. Who could I possibly be?"

"Judging by the fact that you froze time, I'd have to guess that you're a demi-god." A voice said.

Florence looked over to see that Joshua was unfrozen.

"As cool of a trick as that is, you can't possibly think that's all it would take to stop a Reaper. Now tell me, what do you mean when you say he summoned you?"

The man's coin began to fall. He caught it out of the air. "It's simple really, his soul requested my presence, and so I came. If he doesn't even know why he summoned me here, I guess I don't really have any reason to stay though."

"Sorry, I can't say I do." Florence said. "I don't even know you, so I don't see why I would summon you here."

The man flipped his coin once more. It landed on the ground in front of Florence. "If you ever figure it out, I'll be waiting." And with that the man walked off. After he got a few feet away, he simply vanished.

Florence realized that he could no longer sense that man's presence. He had left this realm of existence. Florence also sensed that someone new had shown up. He turned around to see Cassandra standing behind him.

"Man, what was that guy's deal?"

Well. Cassandra lives.

Yep.

That should be on a tee shirt.

'Welp. She lives.'

That would be an interesting shirt.

Statistically, yes. But you said the shirt would say 'Welp. She lives'. She implies that the character is female, so it couldn't be used to describe male characters.
