A note.

Dear Edmund,

It has come to my attention that you and I are no longer enemies. Because of that fact, I feel there is something I must tell you. When I first took over for Glenn, I continued his experiments in a less, I guess you could say, humane way. Of course, immortality was a main goal, but it had nothing to do with the way I approached experimenting. The way I saw it, my methods were a more direct route to creating a perfect weapon. Something that followed orders without question and was exceptionally deadly. Depending on you look at it, I didn't exactly fail. The problem is, my ultimate weapon sees itself as a person and not the weapon it was meant to be. It has gone out of its way to get in my without fail for far too long.

Though my mind may be eternal, my new 'immortal' body isn't. The second my weapon discovers my weaknesses it will come after and finish what it started. I thought it fair to warn you that this weapon seems to continuously increase its own power and will end up a threat to all of us if I allow it to continue existing. That being said, I have two things to ask of you. The first is to destroy me. I have lived far too long and am incapable of ending myself. I ask this of you because I know the power you now possess far exceeds the power of any creature I have ever seen. The second thing I ask of you I to bring an end to my weapon. It is far too powerful and will likely never prove useful to the Cause. End it before it decides to end you.

Also, if you happen to encounter a boy named Zero with white hair, feel free to kill him too. His blood is that of the only demon ever created by man and if he realizes his true power he will be able to bend reality to his will. I know he is still alive, as is the demon whose blood he was born from. I thought merging the demon's blood with that of my greatest failure would calm the beast, but it has only succeeded in sealing it away for a while.

Perhaps it is too soon for me to be asking this of you, but if it weren't for me, you would never be where you are today.

You see, the thing about possibility is that it goes both ways. If it is possible that something will occur then it is possible that the opposite will occur as well. If there is a possibility for one but not the other, then it is not possible, it is certain.

Sometimes, when I'm feeling it.

Some time had past since Florence had contact with anyone. His new power was great and all, but he had no idea what do with it. The incident with Damien had shown him what he was capable of, but he wasn't the type of person who enjoyed murdering innocent people. Of course, he could kill Damien over and over, but that would get boring.

Every now and then he'd get the idea that he should help people with his new powers, but at first that seemed crazy. He felt like he was some sort of destructive monster. As that feeling faded it was replaced with something else. The idea that he shouldn't help people. They weren't deserving off it. He was better than them.

Of course, pondering what he should do was basically all he did. He was practically a demi-god after selling his soul, but it was pointless when he had nothing to do. By now all of his friends probably hated him for his decision, so he had to spend his time alone.

After a while he got a visit from a strange creature. It seemed to be a test subject, the result of genetic experimentation. It looked underfed, and he could tell it was a mixture of some sort of breed of wild animal, though he had no idea which.

"Lord Gustav sends his regards." The creature said. It would be an odd greeting, or at least it would be Florence hadn't met this same creature some time before. It had presented him with a message earlier, and seemed to be carrying a sheet of parchment this time as well.

"What does he want? Is he asking for more favors?"

"I wouldn't know, sir. He has not permitted me to view the words written upon this paper." The creature handed Florence the message it carried. Florence didn't bother reading it yet, he had more important things on his mind.

"What can you tell me about Gustav?"

"He is a noble leader and a just master." The creature replied.

"Bullsh*t!" Florence spat. "The only reason someone would think that is if he had manipulated their mind to think that way."

The creature didn't even acknowledge that Florence had spoken. "Is their anything else you wish to know?" It asked, though Florence doubted he's get much information from it.

"Yes, I'd like to know who the hell Gustav thinks he is." Florence said matter-of-factly. "Asking me for stupid favors like this, sending me notes as if we were old friends, bringing up the name of that... that thing. What would he know of the man who put a bounty on my head?!?"

The creature didn't respond.

"The cursed name of Austin Gustav is one I had not heard in hundreds of years. I could kill Gustav just for mentioning him!" Florence looked at the paper in his hands. Rather than read it he simply watched as it burst into flames. He let it burn in his hand, and once it was gone he looked at the creature. It seemed to have sensed that he was a threat to its survival and barred its fangs. He smirked.

The creature leaped at him like the feral animal it once was. He didn't even bother moving, but instead caught the creature by its throat. He could see fear in its eyes, but he didn't once think about letting it leave alive. With a single movement he crushed every bone in its neck and dropped it to the ground.

At first he was almost surprised. It felt good to murder. And it was so easy! Too easy, in fact. He doubted it would even keep his interest more than a few minutes. Still, if he aimed high enough, maybe he could...

Florence shook his head. Maybe Ragnarok was starting to get to him. Those were the kinds of thoughts he tried to avoid.

Dun dun dunnnnnn. Dramaaaaaaa.

Yeah. The Reaper story arc is starting to get old though, so I'm trying to wrap it up.

Hey, are there still 11 reapers (total 'cuz, you know, Felix died) and shouldn't there be twelve *cough*alpha*cough* But, you know.

Yeah, there should be. Someone should get around to fixing that.
