Cyborgs and the Mafia

Origins: Born to normal humans, suffered an accident at an early age

Magdeluna waited in the pastel painted cafe, impatiently thrumming her steel fingers on the fake wood table, hoping that she wouldn't have to be here for much longer. The sky was a cheery blue and the sun was shining directly into her green eyes. The cherry trees lining the street were in full bloom, leaves and petals waving slightly in the breeze of the hovercrafts gliding in the sky, ten feet above the old paved road. Soon, though, their petals would wither and die, and hopefully she still wouldn't be at this stupid cafe, waiting for a stupid boy to show up (or not) and be her partner for her stupid mission.

"Madam, would you like to order something?" A waiter interrupted her thoughts.

She looked up at him, taking in his recceding hairline, tired brown eyes, and messy shirt.

"Give me another coffee." She jerked her hand at the five of so cups already drained of their cargo.

He nodded and left.

OOC: So, if this is in a different universe, then I will need to make a new character, right?

OOC: Yep.

OOC: k, thanks. Also, real quick, what exactly is this topic going to be about? Like Cyborgs in the mafia, Cyborgs being hunted by the mafia, etc.

OOC: Well, my character is a cyborg, in the mafia, meeting another character that may or may not be a cyborg but is also in the mafia. They're in the future (little bit of a duh) and have a second civilization on the moon too.

Breed: Human
Gender: Male
Appearance: Blond hair, eyes are different colors: the right one is hazel and the left one is split horizontally between hazel and brown (though he wears brown colored contacts in both eyes to hide this), has a scar running along the length of the back of his lower right arm.
Origins: Parents were human, he was raised by his aunt and uncle as his parents' relationship was not exactly the best when he was growing up.

Magdelena was very aggravated, as her contact was late.

Joseph strolled into the cafe, found an empty seat and sat down. He fixed his tie for a bit before casually checking his watch.

Magdelena glanced at him. Oh God no. She thought. This bozo was her contact. Him?

Joseph was oblivious to her glance. He pondered ordering a drink, but as that wasn't the reason he was here, he decided against it.

She sighed and walked over to his table. "You my contact?"

"Contact, you say?" Joseph looked up at her. "Maybe I am."

She didn't have time for this. "I don't have time for this."

"I see." Joseph said. He certainly had the time, for he was wearing a wristwatch. "If that is the case, then I suppose it would be in my best interest to inform you that I am indeed your contact."

"Oh goody." She replied in a monotone. "Lets go to my table. I have the case file in my bag." She walked back over to the table.

Joseph followed her back to the table.

She took out a manila folder. "I don't supposed you've been briefed about this mission."

"Not exactly, I was told to meet someone here at around this time, but not really much else."

"Right." She took out several papers. "Our task, if we 'chose' to accept it, and we don't have the option not to, is to steal the crown jewels of England for our employer." She passed the paperwork over. "You need to sign or neither of us get the money. We get paid 3 Million each."

Joseph looked over the paperwork for a moment before signing. "How exactly are we going to do that?"

"Well, we have a seven hour flight to England leaving in," she pulled up her retina display. "Six hours. We will take a taxi to the airport in one hour." She patted her suitcase, which had wheels. "I will accompany you to your house and help you pack. One suitcase. When we land, we'll check into the hotel. We steal the crown jewels."

"I see. You sure have planned this whole thing out."

She looked at him with obvious disdain. "Yeah." Come on, lateness is not an option." She slapped a twenty coin on the table and left the cafe to hail a cab. "Where do you live?"

Joseph followed her outside and told her the address. In all his time he couldn't recall ever working with a more serious partner, hopefully it wouldn't hinder their success.

She got them to his apartment in record time and with very little conversation.
