At the lab

OOC: can you please quit stating the obvious

IC I hadn't noticed Daniel thought sarcastically. He continued to read

It said how it had happened and notes on the baby. She was aggravated by the same thnigs, had the same abilities, but was unable to use any skills or memories of her older self.

OOC: funny how you neglect to mention how it happened

IC: Well, that's useful Daniel thought but who put this here in the first place?

It said that they used a machine simaler to the Memory Eraser an that she put up quite a fight.

OOC: thank you

IC: "They broke in in the middle of the night and kidnapped her?" Daniel asked aloud.

"What?" Scott asked, only half hearing what he said "are you talking about that smoke stuff from last night?"

The baby clawed at imaginary enemies.

"Aww, she's pretending to fight" Scott commented.

"Smoke?" Daniel asked. It was possible that they had used some sort of sleeping gas to break in, but why would they do this? Didn't they want himself and Dark dead?

A fireball was lobbed at Scott's head.

Scott jumped back.

Daniel looked over at him. "Do you think that if we got her back to the lab, you could turn her back to normal?"

"What do you mean?" Scott asked

Daniel handed him the paper from the baby's back

The baby's ears twitched.

"Oh." Scott said "That explains why no one made me breakfast. Anyways, I should be able to change her back, but how would we get in?"

"Goo?" Dark asked, waking up.

"It won't be easy without Dark" Daniel said, "But with your gadget type thingys and the fact that I can do this" he made lightning jump from one hand to the other "we should be able to manage"

dark clapped and laughed.

Scott picked up the baby. "Alright" he said "Let's go"

And with that they were off to the lab

Dark struggled against him all the way.

Scott handed the baby to Daniel when they got to the door. It was bolted shut, and as a precaution against Dark's metal bending the door had a thick layer of plastic

Dark touched the door. the plastic melted, and the metal wrinkled away.

"They never were the smartest" Scott said. Even though they were scientists, they hadn't even considered that Dark could use powers other than her metal thingy on the door.

Scott went in first. It was completely quiet inside. There were no experiments either, just empty cages

Dark gazed curiously at the cages.

Scott explored around while Daniel stayed close to the entrance. He soon lost sight of Scott in the darkness. There was a buzzing sound and a bright light up ahead.

Dark looked at Daniel.

Daniel set her down. "Stay here" he told her. He walked ahead into the darkness. Suddenly there was a buzzing noise and Daniel sidestepped just in time to avoid being tased. He shot a burst of electricity at the guard, effectively knocking him out. Daniel dragged Scott back to where he had left Dark

Dark had wandered off.
