Scott sighed and went back into the cave. He was surprised to see that Daniel wasn't there. How did he manage to get past us?

Daniel slumped against a tree. He was too far away to see the cave and they certainly couldn't see him. I was wrong. So wrong.

Daniel slammed his fist into the ground. To think she actually cared. I was such an idiot!

"I threw a rock at him." And with that, Dark dashed into the trees. She was sitting above Daniel soon, muttering to herself, walking the branches. "I made a mistake." She said. "But he attacked me." She countered. "He doesn't even me the way I love him." She said in denial. She plucked a leaf and let it go down. "And he doesn't respect me either."

Daniel looked up, seeing the leaf fall. What is she doing here? Probably going to try and boss me around or something

He heard what she said this time. He stood up, using the tree for support. What does she care if I hate her? She's the leader. Nothing else matters to her

Daniel felt something strange in the back of his head. His claws came out and he felt like hitting something again. He managed to regain control.

Scott found the two of them near the same tree. He approached carefully

Scott walked up to Daniel and clipped a silver earring on his ear. "I'll explain later. For now you have to patch things up with Dark.

Daniel felt whatever it was go away. He climbed up the tree to talk to Dark
