At the lab part 2...I guess.

The cage door swung open and Dark was hooked up to a monitor. "Depression?" One muttered. "Has lost willingness to live." Another said. "What happened?" One asked Daniel, nice and slowly.

"What are you asking me for?" Daniel snapped at them.

They scribbled down notes. "Because you are always with her." It said in the same manner.

Daniel was becoming irritated. "Why do you need to know anyways?"

They looked at each other. "Was the clone too unlike subject 12?" They asked each other. "Did he pick the clone?" Dark was put back. She sighed. "Why not kill me now." She said.

Daniel had figured it was all some sort of test. The fake Dark was trying far too hard to convince him to choose her considering she didn't care about him at all

They gave Dark a bowl of water. She sighed and ignored it.

Daniel wished they would just leave. They weren't helping anything

They took the bowl away and scribbled some notes. Then, Dark morphed into a cat for some sleep. They hooked her up to a monitor and watched her dreams. Daniel saw them too.

Daniel watched her dreams

They were of good times with Daniel, them laughing and playing together.

Daniel just watched. He showed no emotion, mainly because they were there

Then, more recently. Daniel, being with the fake Dark. In Dark's dreams, she was all pretty and wonderful. She saw it differently than Daniel.

Daniel sighed. He wondered where the fake Dark was.

In Dark's eyes, Daniel had loved her to no end. In her dream, he had said: "Get out of here, you filthy, stupid girl!"

Dream tears blurred her vision. She was telling herself 'if only's.

Daniel still loved her, no matter what had happened before. Still, after what had happened he figured Dark thought he loved the fake.

Dark thought it was all her fault. She was even crying in her sleep.

Daniel wished he could tell her how he actually felt. He could explain it to her if the people who were watching them left

The humans left, it was too sad. They left the monitor.

Daniel continued to watch

Dark walked to the cages and sat down. Humans approached her warily. "Just kill me already. I've got nothing to live for." She said.

Daniel wanted to wake her up. He hated himself for making her feel like that

Dark fur was darkened with tears.
