Sleep Experiments With Dark

Scott looked directly at her.

She looked at him.

He looked at the stick.

It was a stick.

He looked back at Dark.

It was a Dark.

Scott swallowed his pride. "Do you think you could teach me how to fight?"

"Sure!" Dark went to get her staff.

Scott instantly wondered if this was a bad idea.

She came back with the staff. "Come on!"

"okay."

Dark took him to a tree. "Get up."

He climbed up the tree.

Dark told him to balance on a branch. It was easy for Dark.

Scott found it rather difficult

Dark dropped her pikestaff. "Now attack. I promise I won't use my powers."

Scott found his balance and swung at Dark with the stick.

"Good," Dark said and ducked. She grabbed a branch above her head and rolled onto it.

Scott watched.

She walked along the thin branch and dropped down behind him. "Oh, and there's a net below us. It's a training tree."

"A net. Great." Scott wasn't as worried about falling as he should have been. He was more concerned with making a fool of himself.

Dark formed an earth dummy on the ground. She pushed Scott. She jumped and was caught by the net.

Scott fell onto the net. He was glad to be out of the trees.

Dark showed him pressure points.

Scott payed close attention.
