"Sure."

She gave him a few.

He took them like pills and climbed into the bed. He was tired.

Dark had gone back to sleep.

Scott fell asleep after a little while.

Daniel was alone.

Alpha was drunk.

Daniel pushed Scott out of the bed and went to sleep with Dark.

Scott fell onto the floor. He looked up and Daniel and then crawled outside.

Alpha was singing about stars.

Scott pulled out a package of cigarettes and a lighter. He lit one and began to smoke as he watched the snow fall down.

Alpha took his ciggarrette. "No tar and poison for youuu-uuuu!"

"Why not?" Scott asked. What business of Alpha's was it if he wanted to smoke?

Alpha was gone.

Scott sighed and lit up another.

His little goatie burst into flame.

He put it out and glanced around, not entirely sure how that had happened.

Dark had finished sleeping.

Daniel had not.

"Where'd you get those?""

"Bought 'em"

"How."

"With money."

"Whose." Dark knew he had none.

Scott shrugged.
