The War

The boy mumbled something. It didn't sound like any real words.

They were geting somewhere.

The boy didn't believe so.

Harvest did.

The boy tried to speak again but failed.

"Come on,"

The boy doubted that he would ever be able to speak properly. It was far too weird and difficult.

"Hmm, I wonder if you'll ever be able to survive?"

The boy tilted his head, curious as to what she meant by that.

"Cause, you need to speak to live in the colonies."

The boy wasn't entirely sure what she was talking about.

"The colonies are where people live."

The boy nodded.

"And to communicate and sell goods you must speak."

The boy wondered what she meant by 'sell goods'. Of course, he had no real way of communicating this to her.

"Everyone in the colonies is good at something. They use that to get money and the money to buy things from others."

The boy seemed to understand.

"And you need to speak."

It's not as easy as it looks. The boy would have said. He found this difficult however as he couldn't speak.

"So you want a tour of the colonies? It's actually very pretty."

The boy nodded.

Harvest showed him to the boats.

He simply followed. The boats were a new concept to him.

HArvest pushed it along the lit cavern.

This is cool. The boy thought.
