The War

"And I hope that scars." She called after Florence.

"Quit being such a jerk." Daniel snapped at Dark. If it wasn't for Florence he'd still be dead.

"I hate him! And he owes me."

"That doesn't mean you can treat him like that."

"I plan on making his life a living hell and you can do nothing to stop me."

Daniel reached for the blade Florence had given him. There was a faint ringing.

Dark pricked her ears and quickly snatched the blade from him. She narrowed her eyes. "Didn't think you'd turn on me."

The blade stopped ringing. Florence walked back in to see Dark take the blade from him.

Dark glared at him. "Ten points if I can drive it clean through your skull from here."

Florence backed away slowly. He looked at Daniel.

Daniel tried to take the weapon away from Dark.

Dark slammed him into the wall, knocking the breath from him. "Why did you give him this?" Dark turned back to Florence.

Daniel slid down the wall and looked up at Dark.

"Just... put the knife down..." Florence said. He didn't want anyone to get hurt.

Dark didn't listen. "Twenty points for clean through your heart."

Florence's powers hadn't recovered enough for him to summon his scythe.

Daniel tried to get back up.

Dark kept her eyes on both of them. "Why." She was asking both. 'Why did you draw you knife. Why did you give him the knife."

"You've changed." Daniel replied. "The Dark I know would never act this way."

"It's you who's changed." Dark said. Dark cast her eyes at Florence. "Thirty points for neck." She aimed and threw.

Florence narrowly dodged the blade. He doubted that Dark knew exactly what she had almost done.

Daniel tackled Dark.

Dark snarled and kicked him off of her.

Daniel stumbled backwards. "You idiot. What were you trying to do, kill him?"

DArk hissed at him. "Good-bye." Dark sauntered out, but not before giving a harsh bark.

Florence picked up the blade. He looked at Daniel.

A large wolf walked into the cave.

Daniel looked at the wolf curiously.

It snarled. "I do, as the Queen commands."
