The War

OOC: lolwut. She's more powerful then the second strongest member of the Twelve?

IC: The demon seemed unaffected by her absorbing the pure Chaos energy. It began to move around her at an incredible speed, firing littler attacks at her from every direction.

OOC: You dun know 27 year old Dark. Stuff happened.

IC: Dark released a supersonic screech.

Blood poured from Daniel's ears. The demon didn't give a f*ck about the mortal who's body it was possessing. If Daniel died the demon could still use his body like a puppet.

Dark noticed that and leapt into the demon, possessing Daniel like she did Gustav.

The demon easily overpowered her, pushing her out of Daniel's body.

Dark didn't appear in the mortal plain.

The demon looked over at Scott.

Scott was beginning to wake up. All his ribs were broken and it hurt to breathe, but he was still alive. For now at least.

Dark appeared and noticed. "Not him." She pointed at the demon. Her finger began to glow to her surprise. The body was fine but the demon felt a crushing pain.

The demon hissed and then seemed to leave Daniel's body. Daniel seemed to wake up from a trance. His eyes were back to their usual color. "Dark?" he asked, scared.

Dark nodded.Dark gave a sharp hiss in the demon's direction. 'I can and will hurt you.'

"What's going on?" Daniel asked. He suddenly noticed that he didn't hear himself when he spoke.

'Shut it.' Dark signed. She clenched her fist, and the demon's neck cracked in two. "Oops."

Daniel suddenly felt strange. He coughed, but rather than blood he coughed up orange energy. He was terrified and had no idea what was going on.

Dark felt rather uneasy. 'Just close the damned portal. I'll cover.'

Daniel looked around for Soul's Bane. He saw it lying on the ground and walked over to it. Something like a voice in his head warned him not to try and bind the blade to his soul, but if he didn't...

Dark was cracking demon necks with her newfound powers.

Daniel picked up Soul's Bane and tried to bond it to his soul. Scott watched in horror as the blade rejected his tainted soul, killing him instantly.

Dark was shocked. "No. Not now not ever!" Angry fire danced in a circle around her. She moved towards Daniel's body and knealt down, tears carving trails down her face.

The demons forced their way through the opening in massive numbers. The more that came through, the larger the portal got. Scott got the feeling that everything was over. He was just barely alive, and Daniel and Florence were dead. There was no way Dark could fight off all the demons by herself until they just stopped coming.

There was a sudden flash of light and the demons vanished. The rift in space and time began to mend itself. Scott saw a young women and eleven figures it bright cloaks appear. They seemed to be emanating a holy power.

Dark wiped away her tears 'More to deal with?'

The young women looked at Dark and then saw Daniel. "It would seem that we are too late."

Oddly enough, after she had said that, time seemed to go in reverse. Everyone's wounds heal almost instantly. The portal also sealed up.

Dark glared, confused.

"What's that rude look for?" The women asked.

Dark gave a sharp hiss.

The women seemed offended.

Florence began to wake up slowly.
