"How'd you mess up?"

Florence sighed. "It's a long story, but in short, I was unable to control my own power and nearly killed two of the Twelve, Luther and Cassandra. Because of me, Gustav was able to finish them off and discover the secret to unlocking the gates."

"Oh...I had that problem when I was younger."

"Well, it was a little different in that my power was obtained through unnatural means."

"...How?"

Both Florence and Gaia were silent.

Dark waited for an answer.

They didn't wish to answer.

Dark wanted an answer.

Gaia sighed. "You really are nosy, you know that."

"So?"

"It's their business." Daniel said. "You shouldn't make them talk about it if they don't want to."

"So?"

Daniel wasn't sure why she kept saying 'so'.

Dark was unaware of that.

"Why do you keep saying 'so?'?" Daniel asked.

"I'm answering your question with a question."

"But why?"

"Why not?"

Daniel got the feeling that Dark was just going to keep asking odd questions.

He was right.

Daniel sighed.

Dark turned her attention back to the immortal beings.

They were still not saying anything.

Dark gave an exasperated sigh.
