The War

"What?"

"You have to promise not to overreact and kill anybody when I tell you, okay?" Joshua wasn't entirely sure, and he didn't want Dark doing anything too rash.

"No promises."

Joshua sighed. "I guess I shouldn't tell you then."

"Just tell me."

"It's Florence." Joshua said. "Ever since we got here, I've noticed that his power has been gradually increasing. I wasn't sure why, but it would seem that he's been somehow using our power to make himself stronger. The weird thing is, he doesn't notice it."

Dark rolled her eyes. "Deal with that later. Come on, I'm gonna show you around Lycar." Dark stood up.

OOC: Okay seriously?!? Can you cut that sh*t out? It's starting to get annoying.

IC: "Lycar?" Joshua asked.

OOC: What?

IC: "The city under the cave."

OOC: Your characters constantly rolling their eyes. It's stupid, childish, and annoying. I mean really, it's like their default response to everything.

IC: Joshua wasn't sure he understood.

OOC: Sorry. Didn't realize.

IC: Dark moved a large boulder out of the way of the tunnel. "Come on."

OOC: It's alright. I guess you would have had no way of knowing that when people do that it makes me want to rip their eyeballs out and beat them to death with a blunt object.

IC: Joshua and Damien followed.

OOC: Alrighty then.

IC: Dark used her fore power to light the candles embedded in the walls. "There's lights in the actual route." Dark walked to a boat.

They looked at the boat. Joshua was reminded of a certain boat that led down a certain river.

"It's the only way to the city. It's underground." Dark explained. She lit the lantern that was on the boat. She climbed in.

Damien and Joshua climbed into the boat after Dark. Joshua couldn't stop thinking about the river of lost souls.

Dark pushed off with the paddle. "You might want to hold on here." Dark said as she hit the rapids. They were very difficult rapids.

OOC: Bouncy, fast, overtun-the-boat-y

Damien and Joshua held on. Neither one wanted to fall into the river.

Dark was used to this and could stand and steer the boat. "Little more." Dark gave a sharp turn. "We're here." The massive city loomed over them, bathed in yellow light.

They looked at the city in awe.

"Rebuild that." Dark said proudly.

"Rebuild?" Damien asked.

"It was burned down in the end of the First War. I was two. It was when I was captured. My mom died in that final attack."

"That's terrible."

Dark nodded. "Lots of people died."
